Edwin is the ESG analyst covering Cloud Services & Orchestration, Data Protection, and DevOps. Before joining ESG, Edwin was the Director of Product Marketing for Hewlett Packard Enterprise’s Helion Cloud solutions, including OpenStack, Cloud Foundry, and CloudSystem.
Before HPE, Edwin was the Director of Cloud and Virtualization Strategy at Microsoft, helping launch Hyper-V and Microsoft Virtualization, as well as an early leader at Softricity, which invented the Application Virtualization space. Edwin has over 25 years of consulting, product management, and sales experience.
Lauren Whitehouse, Director, Software-Defined and Cloud Group, HPE
Lauren is the marketing director for HPE’s Software-Defined and Cloud Group portfolio. She is a serial start-up marketer with over 30 years in the software industry, joining HPE from the SimpliVity acquisition in February 2017.
Lauren brings extensive experience from a number of executive leadership roles in software development, product management, product marketing, channel marketing, and marketing communications at emerging and market-leading global enterprises. She also spent several years as an industry analyst, speaker and blogger, serving as a popular resource for IT vendors and the media, as well as a contributing writer at TechTarget on storage topics. Lauren has a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.
